As part of the coal phase-out, the imposing F60 conveyor bridge in the Jänschwalde open-cast mine is being dismantled - an important symbol of East German industrial history is disappearing. In order to preserve this technical monument for posterity, QLEE has launched a special documentation initiative together with the Hamburg-based company Omnia 360 GmbH.

As part of the QLEE course "Planning, construction and operation of large PV systems", a real solar plant was documented with the help of omnia360 GmbH from Hamburg. Our colleague Henry Tackenberg (IBBF) was on site together with Ingo Klute, an experienced expert for PV systems, to prepare the system for virtual use.

In February, our colleague Henry Tackenberg travelled to Japan on behalf of QLEE together with a delegation of 18 companies from Berlin and Brandenburg. The delegation trip was all about renewable energies and offered a unique opportunity to present our project and the qualification network internationally.

On 26 and 27 June 2025, QLEE was part of the Decarbon Days in the boomtown of Cottbus. The event offered a platform for exchange, innovation and inspiration around the topics of energy transition and decarbonisation.

We are pleased to announce that the company SIK Peitz GmbH has joined the Qualification Network in Lusatia for Renewable Energies (QLEE).

On 9 September, we presented the key areas of QLEE in a compact and impressive way as part of our review event "Four years of QLEE - review and perspectives". Six impressive posters took visitors on a journey through four years of QLEE - from vibrant public relations work to the strong network and bold visions for Lusatia 2040+. Each view revealed stories of exchange, cooperation and courage for the future.

Commitment, qualification and cooperation: QLEE has been driving structural change in Lusatia since 2022. The review meeting on 9 September showed just how much future potential there is in the region - and we have captured this in a lively graphic recording. A visual review full of energy, ideas and joint successes.

Almost 50 young people from Brandenburg, Saxony and Berlin took part in the second Future Academy this year.

On 9 September, around 100 guests came together in Lübbenau for the QLEE review event to look back on the successes of the last four years and develop prospects for the future.
