Delegation trip to Japan

QLEE in Japan: Exchange and inspiration for the future

In February, our colleague Henry Tackenberg travelled to Japan on behalf of QLEE together with a delegation of 18 companies from Berlin and Brandenburg. The delegation trip focussed entirely on renewable energies and offered a unique opportunity to present our project and the qualification network internationally.

A particular highlight was our participation in a networking event organised by Germany Trade & Invest (GTAI) in Tokyo. Henry Tackenberg presented our project as a role model for the Japanese transformation to an audience of over 70 Japanese companies as well as educational and research institutions. This platform not only provided space for inspiring discussions, but also made it possible to demonstrate synergies between large companies and SMEs in the areas of education and training.

Recognition from the German ambassador

We are particularly proud of the positive feedback from the German ambassador Dr Clemens von Goetze. He praised our flagship project and emphasised the importance of international exchange between transition regions. Such partnerships are an important building block for mastering global challenges together.

Exclusive insights at Panasonic and AIST Tokyo Waterfront

The programme highlights included visits to Panasonic and the AIST Tokyo Waterfront research institute. Here, QLEE gave an impressive demonstration of how education and training can be successfully organised through cooperation between different stakeholders. The Japanese partners showed great interest in our approach, which was emphasised by numerous questions and intensive discussions.

Shaping the future together

The trip has shown: Qualification for the future works best together! By sharing knowledge and experience, we can utilise synergies and open up new perspectives for sustainable transformation. For us, Japan was an inspiring example of how global cooperation can shape the future.

We look forward to incorporating the impetus gained into our work and further deepening our partnership with Japan!
