  • Logo Institut für betriebliche Bildungsforschung

The non-profit organisation Vereinigung für Betriebliche Bildungsforschung e.V. was founded in 2012 to promote application-oriented scientific research and development in the field of corporate education in the digital age and to support the transfer of scientific findings into practice. The association is the sponsor of the Institute for Corporate Education Research (IBBF). The IBBF realises regional and supra-regional research, model and pilot projects for public clients in the states of Berlin and Brandenburg, the federal government and is active in an international context. With a view to current transformation processes (digitalisation, climate change, etc.), the focus is on topics relating to in-company training, in particular skills development, innovative work design and the development of knowledge and skilled workers in companies. Particular emphasis is placed on forms and formats of collaborative learning using digital media.

The IBBF realises its research and development work in particular in the cross-state clusters of energy technology and transport, mobility and logistics in Berlin-Brandenburg. In the projects, it works closely as a multiplier with commercial and educational companies as well as with chambers and associations in order to jointly develop and implement needs-based and modern qualification programmes.

The Q in QLEE is represented by the IBBF. The institute is a research expert in the field of continuing vocational training and stands for the competent development of qualification programmes. It plays a leading role in identifying the changing needs of the regional economy during structural change and contributes to the development of skilled labour in Lusatia.

  • Logo LEAG

LEAG supplies energy for millions of households, industry and public life - reliably, flexibly and affordably. This makes us one of the top 5 electricity producers in Germany. In our core regions in the east of the country - Lusatia and the Central German coalfields - we also provide district heating for local authorities and companies. With around 7,000 employees, we are also one of the largest private employers here.

Together, we are building on more than three decades of experience in the energy industry - a good "age" to start afresh. The energy system is undergoing its biggest transformation yet: climate-friendly, sustainable, renewable. And we are actively helping to shape it. We are systematically expanding our generation portfolio to include renewable energies and pioneering technology solutions for the German energy transition and structural change in the local mining areas.

LEAG wants to build the largest centre for green energy in Germany, the GigawattFactory, in Lusatia. By 2030, we will have developed seven gigawatts of renewable energy in our post-mining landscapes. The GigawattFactory also stands for unique quality: we are combining photovoltaic and wind systems with large energy storage systems and future-proof power plants. This ensures a secure energy supply from sun and wind - regardless of the weather, around the clock.

  • Logo Bundesverband Erneuerbare Energien

The German Renewable Energy Federation (BEE) is the umbrella organisation for the renewable energy sector in Germany. It was officially founded on 14 December 1991 and acts as a federation of trade associations from the fields of hydropower, wind energy, bioenergy, solar energy and geothermal energy. The BEE represents the interests of the industry vis-à-vis politicians and the public.

The BEE's long-term goal is to switch the energy supply in Germany completely to renewable energies. The association therefore campaigns at all political levels for better framework conditions for renewables and works to prioritise them over finite and fossil fuels. As an umbrella organisation, the BEE coordinates the activities of the individual associations in the field of renewable energy. It organises consultations with politicians, authorities, institutes and associations, commissions expert opinions and draws up statements on proposed legislation.
