Regional co-operation

Creating synergy, sharing knowledge, shaping the future:

Co-operation with strong partners is an essential component for the success of the QLEE in order to develop and offer innovative and practical qualifications. To this end, the association works closely with various stakeholders such as the Federal Employment Agency, chambers of industry and commerce, chambers of trade and commerce, renewable energy companies, regional networks and initiatives as well as universities and research institutions.

The importance of strong regional partners lies in several key factors:

  • Knowledge and technology transfer: strong partners often bring specialised knowledge and advanced technologies that are essential for further training and the development of new skills.

  • Regional development: Cooperation with local companies and institutions strengthens the regional economy and promotes job creation in the field of renewable energies.

  • Quality assurance: Renowned partners contribute to the quality of the training programmes and ensure that they meet current industry standards.
Promoting innovation: Strong partners can contribute innovative approaches to further training, which increases the competitiveness of QLEE members.

  • Sustainability: The promotion of renewable energies through qualified training contributes to the long-term sustainability and energy independence of the region.

BTU Cottbus-Senftenberg

The Brandenburg University of Technology (BTU) Cottbus-Senftenberg, which has three campuses in Lusatia, offers 64 degree programmes to around 6,800 students in six faculties, including 14 courses taught entirely in English. The QLEE and BTU primarily cooperate in the field of vocational and higher education continuing education. This includes the joint development, implementation and quality assurance of further and continuing education programmes. Particular attention is paid to the transfer of knowledge towards the practical application of the solutions developed.

A co-operation that becomes immediately effective when it is signed: QLEE Network Manager Frank Büchner, BTU President Prof Dr Christine Grande and LEAG HR Director Jörg Waniek are delighted about the launch of the joint training course "Specialist expert for hydrogen applications", photo: LEAG
