Lusatia is focussing on hydrogen as the new energy source of the future. Companies and research institutions are already working on corresponding projects, such as the construction of a hydrogen storage power plant in the Schwarze Pumpe industrial park, where green hydrogen is to be produced from 2025. The expansion of hydrogen technologies and their use in practice offer decisive competitive advantages and ensure future viability.
Our course is divided into several modules that comprehensively cover the various aspects of hydrogen technology.
-
The basic course provides basic knowledge on the subject of hydrogen and is aimed specifically at participants without a technical background. An interdisciplinary approach is taken to highlight the key technical and economic aspects of hydrogen technology. + The aim of the course is to present the current developments in the hydrogen economy, which further developments have already been decided and what lies ahead in the coming years. It also focuses on the value chain of the new hydrogen industry and hydrogen utilisation. The basic course provides an overview of the topic and shows what the technical development status is for applications that work with hydrogen. + The individual topics will be deepened interactively and as required in question and discussion rounds.
-
This course provides comprehensive knowledge of the various alternative drive systems and the safe handling of hydrogen vehicles. Participants will learn the basics of electrical engineering, the properties of hydrogen and the differences between hybrid vehicles (PHEV), battery electric vehicles (BEV) and hydrogen vehicles (FCEV).
-
This seminar focuses on lithium-ion battery storage systems as stationary energy storage systems. The focus is on a detailed treatment of the topics of economic efficiency, technology and safety. The overall aim is to provide a comprehensive overview of the development and trends in stationary lithium-ion battery storage systems.
-
This seminar enables participants to work safely on live electrical systems up to 1,000 V AC and 1,500 V DC. This includes installation, repair, maintenance and servicing. The prerequisite for participation is that you are a qualified electrician and have sufficient system knowledge and practical experience. The aim is to ensure the safe use of the technology in operational practice.

The seminar deals with the technical aspects of planning, construction and operation of large PV systems. Current product developments in the field of modules, inverters and racks and their effects will be considered. Examples from practice, the consideration of typical errors and a practical day in a ground-mounted PV system give the seminar a practical character.
